Majora’s Wrath
tried to draw my own take on it, i’m surprised there haven’t been more interpretations of this thing considering how freakish and abstract it looks in the game

I was originally going to wait until after PDA was all printed and ready (by the way, it looks astonishing so far and I don’t even have all the submissions in yet, way to go guys!) to post about this, but now I’m way too excited, so here goes!
LORD AND MASTER - A BLACK METAL ZINE - NOW OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS - DEADLINE IS AUGUST 1ST, 2012
Lord and Master is a stand-alone zine I’m going to be putting together. I am looking for for comics and single illustrations (!!!) inspired in tone and aesthetic by black metal. If you or someone you know is enthusiastic about this sort of thing, do not hesitate to send them my way! If you are familiar with the zines I’ve done in the past you know how this works. Here are the specs:
- Black and white (grays permitted as well)
- 8x11” format
- 300dpi
If you are doing a comic, you may want to send me a prompt first. I’ll give it the o-kay if it’s appropriate for the zine. Same for illustrations. The only hard lined rule I have is that I won’t be accepting semi-symmetrical goat head drawings for anything other than the cover (this is not the cover) to prevent too much same-y looking stuff in the zine, hope y’all understand.

My bf encouraged me to read COSM because he thought I’d like it, and I do. I had never actually read any of partydog’s comics before, aside from a couple my friend Evan wrote.
Definitely impressed with what I’ve read of it so far. I wanted to draw the holeface guy pretty much the second I saw him, so here’s fanart!

House of the Devil came out in 2009, but it’s such a perfect homage to 80s horror movies that you’d probably never guess unless somebody told you. skip to 1:10 for the AWESOME opening credits theme.
i first saw it around the time it came out in our small campus theater and had a really fucking great time. it’s an amazingly suspenseful movie that’s really lovingly crafted in a way that few horror movies are anymore. highly recommended!
